I got a great deal on Gibson LP Traditional (Guitar-a-thon sale). I already know what color I wanted. The salesperson, Matt, was quick to assist. It was a no hassle and a smooth transaction. I'm not sure if he remembers me, but Matt also was the one who helped me when I bought my Epiphone LP. Thanks. I live in Queens, but this is my go-to store for my music equipment needs.

Friendly staff. A little disorganized but that's expected towards the end of the day after everyone's been trying out equipment The gentleman who helped me knew his stuff, which is reassuring as often in retail, folks are just looking to hire anyone who can be a body and staff the store. I didn't feel that way during my visit this time. I was purchasing a practice drum pad and the gentleman who helped me (MATTHEW) at Carle Place store knew his stuff. He was responsive to my questions, went to check if he had stuff in stock, and rang me up right away. Appreciated his help Would def return

Great selection but understaffed. We must have spent 3 hours in this store trying to purchase a bass guitar and all its ensembles. My son is in his HS jazz band and wanted a bass guitar. We didn’t do our homework regarding bass guitars, but thought we would get the appropriate help here. We did, but everyone was busy so we get help in small snippets. Hints: Have an idea of what you are looking for especially if you’re new to music/guitars. Have a budget in mind. Allow yourself time to get the required help. Allow time to practice and explore the equipment you would like to purchase.

I come here when I need some hands-on advice. Whether it’s selecting a new guitar, trying out a new product, or selling used gear. This is my go to place. It’s run by actual musicians so they know exactly what you need, and what you don’t need. No gimmicks here, just some really good deals on quality equipment. Why bother with craigslist , Facebook marketplace, eBay, and Reverb, when you can try before you buy. That way you know exactly what you’re getting and what your instrument is capable of. I prefer going to this guitar center instead of the guitar Center on 14th St. , the guitar center on Route 3 in New Jersey, and the 48th street Long Island city store. It’s just bigger and the employees are musicians themselves. So you’re not getting some slick salesman looking for a commission, but an employee who probably has hands on , real life experiences with what they are selling. I failed to mention and photographed the pro acoustic guitar and pro electric guitar department. They also offer instrument lessons also at reasonable rates.

I must commend Jake, the store manager, for his exceptional professionalism in handling a difficult situation. Despite encountering a rude and aggressive customer who was yelling and using inappropriate language, Jake remained calm and composed. He handled the situation with grace and ensured that the atmosphere in the store remained welcoming and pleasant for other customers. The overall ambiance of the Guitar Center was fantastic. It truly felt like a family establishment, where the staff members fostered a sense of community and inclusivity. The environment was filled with positive energy, and I felt comfortable exploring different instruments and asking questions. I am grateful for the outstanding customer service I received at this Guitar Center. Thanks to Dana, Jake, and Matt, my first guitar-buying experience was memorable, enjoyable, and stress-free. I highly recommend this store to anyone in search of a musical instrument or knowledgeable assistance.
